Luxury magazine's fashion team is always scouting out local talent for fashion editorials. To be photographed alongside heavyweight brands like Chanel, Saint Laurent and Fendi, however, you really need to stand out, not to mention epitomise luxury fashion. That is just what this vest-and-jumpsuit ensemble by Dubai-based brand House of Nomad did when we first caught sight of it at last season's Fashion Forward at Madinat Jumeirah.
To complement the silver sheen in the settings of the crystal embellishments, we thought that metallic heels by Marni would be the perfect accessory to the outfit. A magnetic pearl choker and bangle, both by Dior, provided the finishing touches to the look. The neoprene vest and jumpsuit are sold separately, and each piece offers endless styling opportunities. The jumpsuit can serve as an ideal base for accessories, and for a variety of outerwear styles. Wear it with a camel-coloured bomber jacket and pristine white trainers for a casual look, or with a faux fur vest and pointed heels to radiate fashion girl flair.
While we love how the vest looks when paired with the jumpsuit, we’re also tempted to style it with an all-black ensemble. For cooler weather, it could also look wonderful with a turtleneck and jeans. If you do decide to splurge on this statement piece, be sure to incorporate a touch of bling, whether it’s the addition of oversized stud earrings or subtly embellished heels.
