For its latest fragrance, Chopard has combined one of the oldest ingredients in perfume-making – musk – with notes of cedarwood, black pepper and spicy leather.
Musk Malaki is the fourth scent in Chopard’s Malaki family of fragrances after Amber Malaki, Rose Malaki and Oud Malaki. French master perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu is the nose behind Musk Malaki, an all-out masculine scent contained within a metallic silver bottle that echoes the stainless steel used in Chopard watches. Beaulieu has previously worked on fragrances from Salvatore Ferragamo, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Diesel and Esprit
The Malaki Collection by Chopard is inspired by ingredients that meld Oriental and Occidental traditions, and which have been an integral part of perfumery in the Middle East. These include agarwood, rose, amber and now musk. Each of the four fragrances costs Dh475 for 80ml, and they are available from leading retailers and department stores across the UAE.
