Bulgari's iconic ring, the B. Zero 1, underwent a redesign at the hands of the late architect Dame Zaha Hadid.
Although known for her sensual, undulating architecture, Dame Hahdid was approached by Bulgari’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin in 2015, and asked to reinterpret the ring through her own, unique vision. The result is the same Bulgari ring, in rose and yellow gold, but now with bold, geometric lines.
The outer rings retain their solidity, but the central band of the jewellery is now a series of interwoven lines that criss-cross one another, offering a sense of movement — a design feature that is so reminiscent of Hadid’s studio.
