The UK's week in pictures: pressure on Boris Johnson, Covid rules lifted and a Wolf Moon

This week, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson faced questioning in Parliament over parties held at his 10 Downing St residence during lockdown, while 12 MPs from his own Conservative Party asked for a vote of no confidence in their leader. Meanwhile, Mr Johnson announced that most Covid restrictions in England will be lifted from January 27. The week also saw 2022's first full moon – known in parts of the world as a Wolf Moon.
