A South Korean passenger plane has been forced to turn back after it was found out that one of its doors wasn’t completely sealed.

Video filmed inside this South Korean passenger plane shows a gap between the door and the door frame. The Jin Air plane, carrying 163 passengers, took off from Cebu, Philippines, without its front door properly sealed. It returned about half an hour after taking off.

Passengers say they suffered headaches and felt pain in their ears.

“I thought I would die here because I was numb with a headache,” said passenger Kim Jin-bae.

Passengers got on another plane and landed in Busan 15 hours later than scheduled.

Head of Jin Air Busan office, Park Mun-seong, apologised for the incident.

Jin Air, the budget affiliate of Korean Air Lines, say they couldn’t find any defects. South Korea says it will review safety at its six budget airlines.
