DOHA // Qatar has sewn a flag large enough to cover seven football pitches, claiming a Guinness World Record, as the emirate celebrates its national day, local press said on Monday.
Al Sharq newspaper reported on its website that the fabric used for Qatar's flag was imported on board three planes, it said.
The country celebrates its national day on December 18.
