Worshippers attend the re-opening of the Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady on St Georges Day in Aleppo.

The church was badly damaged during battles for full control of the city between the Free Syrian Army and hardline rebel support and Bashar Al Assad's  forces during the Syrian Civil War.

Syrian Government forces - with the help of Russian firepower, regained the rebel-held city in full in 2016.
