Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, on Sunday took part in a preparatory ministerial council meeting ahead of the GCC Summit.

The 41st summit will be held in Riyadh on January 5.

Sheikh Abdullah led the UAE delegation during the online meeting, attended by other Gulf foreign ministers.

On Saturday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, received an official invitation to attend the GCC summit, on behalf of President Sheikh Khalifa.
