ABU DHABI // Have you taken a photo of Abu Dhabi that you think is worthy of putting on fridges all around the world?
If so, Muhra Al Muhairi, co-owner of I Love Abu Dhabi souvenir shop in Yas Mall, wants to see your efforts.
She has started a competition to find the best photos that encapsulate our city. The winners will be printed on fridge magnets and sold in her shop.
“The idea is if I give the magnet with a certain picture to someone in another country as a gift, they will know it was taken in Abu Dhabi,” said Ms Al Muhairi.
“We would like to take advantage of all talents, without a specific age or nationality, to take high-resolution pictures of tourist attractions to be printed on magnets as our new collection.”
Winners will have their names and the location of their photo printed on the magnet.
Email submissions to info@ilovead.ae by June 5, with a maximum of five photos. Twenty will be chosen, with the winners getting a Dh200 gift voucher from the shop.
