Emirates Red Crescent has delivered aid to families affected by heavy rains in Jordan.
A UAE response team based at the joint Emirati-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees in Mrajeeb Al Fhood has provided winter supplies to a group of families in temporary tents at Al Azraq in the Zarqa Governorate in Jordan, reported the state news agency, Wam. Recent torrential rains in the country had washed away their tents.
The relief team responded after receiving a call for help from the area on Tuesday. The aid included warm winter items and food.
