More than 8,000 struggling Palestinian families received a respite from the harsh winter with aid from the UAE’s Human Appeal International charity.

Aid worth Dh5 million was delivered to poverty-stricken families in 2,604 humanitarian missions in cities and towns, according to Ibrahim Rashid, commissioner of the HAI in the West Bank.

The charity hopes to reach more than 15,000 families in the Palestinian territory. The charity launched the campaign Tarahamu last year to help vulnerable people in Iraq and the Levant.
