Cool and cloudy weather is on the cards for the weekend with a chance of rain in the north as fresh winds sweep into the UAE.
Winds are likely to gather in strength from the southwest and northwest, blowing in dust and sand as speeds reach 35km an hour.
Sunny spells on Thursday will see daytime temperatures reach 23C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai before an overnight change in the weather brings cooler conditions for the weekend.
Strong winds will bring rough conditions at sea in the Arabian Gulf overnight into Friday morning, as wind strength picks up to reach 60km an hour.
It will feel cool at 19C on Friday, with hazy weather and overcast conditions for much of the day, although it will be slightly warmer on the east coast.
Similar cloudy weather is expected on Saturday, although wind speeds are expected to drop. It will remain cool with average temperatures of 20C for much of the country.
