DUBAI // Residents can expect a warm start to the weekend with temperatures peaking at 44°C this afteroon.
Inland, temperatures will dip to 23°C with a range of 26°C to 40°C expected along the coast.
Those heading to the Northern Emirates for the weekend can expect cooler, less humid conditions and cloudy skies by the afternoon.
Meanwhile residents staying in Abu Dhabi and Dubai can expect humidity levels of up to 85 per cent.
Seas will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman but are expected to turn choppy waters on Friday.
