Raknah, a suburb of Al Ain, registered the lowest temperature on Monday when the mercury dipped to 7.7°C at 7:15am, but the heat is quickly rising across the country.
The National Center of Meteorology forecast highs of up to 29°C in the interior, 27°C along the coast and 20°C in the mountains.
“The temperatures will continue to rise gradually,” according to the NCM.
Winds will be light to moderate, blowing about 10 to 20 km/h.
The highest temperature registered in the UAE yesterday was recorded at 2.30pm in Mezaira at 31.4°C.
