The weather is expected to be quite mixed on Thursday with some sunshine, but overcast conditions by the afternoon with a chance of rain this evening across the country.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology there will be a significant drop in temperatures. In the mountains temperatures are likely to fall as low as 6°C.
Fresh to strong winds of up to 65kph, especially over the sea and exposed areas, will cause blowing sand and dust, and accompanying poor visibility over those areas.
The sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and by the afternoon in the Sea of Oman.
