AJMAN // Residents in the Northern Emirates and Dubai woke up to rain and strong winds.
Partly cloudy weather is expected to continue today with cloud cover likely to increase over parts of the country leading to a drop in temperature, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
Gusty winds are forecast and expected to pick up dust, reducing visibility.
Internal temperatures are expected to range between 12°C and 29°C with colder temperatures along the coast ranging between 14°C and 26°C.
The lowest temperature recorded this morning was 9.7°C on Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah.
Forecasters warned the sea would be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
Strong winds are set to continue over the next two days.
