Motorists have been warned to use extreme caution when driving through heavy fog in Liwa today.

The warning was issued by the National Centre of Meteorology, who said the fog will be heaviest before 8.30am this morning.

Elsewhere, the temperature is expected to reach as high as 45°C, with the highest temperatures being in Abu Dhabi. There will be light to moderate winds throughout the day, causing dust to be blown over some exposed areas.
