UAE weather: Fog prompts visibility warning across the country

Patches of mist and fog have been reported across the country, particularly over Sheikh Zayed Road, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Sweihan and Ras Al Khaimah.

Forecasters have issued a warning due to fog reducing visibility to less than 1km in some areas.

Abu Dhabi International Airport has not reported delays in flights due to the weather.

Residents can expect another hot day with hazy skies turning mild by the evening.

Skies will be cloudy over the eastern mountainous regions with light to moderate winds keeping conditions fresh.

Humidity will increase overnight across the country leading to further fog on Thursday morning.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and factor extra time in for their daily commutes.

Temperatures will range between 25°C and 38°C along the coast and between 24°C and 42°C inland.

Waters will be moderate turning rough by the evening in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
