While the UAE weather in general is expected to be “fair to party cloudy and hazy at times”, the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) issued an alert in the early morning hours on Thursday for Madinat Zayed and Al Ruwais areas, due to dense fog over some areas of Al Dhafra.

Fog formation and poor visibility in Abu Dhabi's Western Region started at 1 am is expected to continue until 9 am. The extent of the fog and poor visibility reached 500 meters at times over internal coastal areas, especially westward.
The forecast for partly cloudy skies remains a constant with light to moderate winds, according to the NCM.
Humidity remains and is expected to increase during the night and early morning over internal and coastal areas. Motorists planning to take a road trip are advised to exercise caution as fog and mist formations may appear in several areas. While those planning a fishing trip or other boating activities can enjoy the slight to moderate seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
