Thick cloud will cover much of the UAE on Thursday with the chance of rain most likely in the north and eastern areas of the country. Light rain fell overnight in parts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Abu Dhabi will see a high of 32°C, with similar temperatures likely in Dubai and central areas, although it will be slightly cooler in Fujairah with the possibility of showers later in the day. Humidity will increase overnight with a sticky night on Thursday, and temperatures remaining relatively high at 26°C in coastal areas. Exposed areas will also be likely to experience blowing dust as moderate winds from the north west reach about 15 km per hour.
