Traffic around Dubai International Airport was one of the most congested areas on the nation’s roads on Wednesday morning.
The E311 and E11 heading towards Sharjah were both busier than usual, with increased traffic accumulating in the Mirdif and Al Qusais areas.
There was also a build-up of traffic around the E66 interchange at Nad al Sheeba in all directions, with drivers urged to reduce speed and approach with care.
Journey times could also be extended in Abu Dhabi with traffic accumulating along the E10 near Qasr al Bahr causing delays for drivers.
