AJMAN // Police have launched a public appeal to identify a man who was in a car crash and has lost his memory.

The man, who is believed to be in his forties and from an Asian country, underwent four operations due to severe bleeding on the brain and is now unable to recall who he is.

Ajman Police have tried and failed to identify him and no family has come forward to report him as a missing person.

“Through search and investigation, we could not identify him, find his address, phone number or anything that can prove his identity,” said Lt Col Ali Jaber Al Shamsi, director of comprehensive police centres.

The man was treated at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman after the crash. He was carrying nothing that could identify him.

The director urged anyone who has information about the man or his family to call the operations department at Ajman Police on 06 740 9999.
