Two men killed in crashes in UAQ

A 23-year-old Arab man was instantly killed after his car crashed into a heavy vehicle at around 8.30pm on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Bayata area.

A 23-year-old Arab man was instantly killed after his car crashed into a heavy vehicle at around 8.30pm on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Bayata area.

The second accident happened at 11.30pm in the UAQ old industrial area in which an Asian man, 31, was run over.

Lieutenant Colonel Saeed bin Aran said the motorist’s speeding was to blame for the collision, which also involved three other vehicles.
