DUBAI // Dubai Police have warned motorists to be extra cautious amid hazy conditions on Thursday.
At least four accidents were reported in Dubai on Thursday morning, on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi and on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
A stalled vehicle in the World Trade Centre tunnel towards the Defence bridge had caused a tailback, Dubai Police tweeted, asking motorists to be careful.
The weather conditions will continue to be hazy with some areas covered by fog, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
The congestion and traffic build-up on Sheikh Zayed motorway and on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road were caused by two accidents near Al Manara Road towards Abu Dhabi and near the Amman Street exit.
Other road mishaps were also reported on Hessa Street near the residency department and on Umm Suqeim Road towards Jumeirah 2.
