DUBAI // Five vehicles were involved in two accidents on Sheikh Zayed Road, resulting in delays for commuters on Wednesday morning.
The first of the accidents involved a collision between a Jaguar and a Land Rover on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Jebel Ali Industrial Area in the Abu Dhabi-bound lanes.
Three vehicles were involved in the second, close to Jafza Gate 4, and police and ambulance services were at the scene.
There were long queues on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from Al Qusais Industrial Area 5 to the Mirdif City Centre Interchange.
Traffic on Al Ittihad Road heading out of Sharjah into Dubai was also slow.
The roads were moving freely in Abu Dhabi and there were no reports of accidents in the capital.
