Congestion is building towards Sharjah on the E11 in Deira as the morning rush begins to cause minor delays to journey times on Tuesday.
Slow moving traffic is also backing up along the E311 in the direction of Dubai International City near Muhaisnah, with drivers expected to take longer than usual to arrive at their destinations.
Most other major roads are running well and clear of major congestion, although slight delays are expected on the E11 in Abu Dhabi towards Mohammed bin Zayed City as traffic begins to accumulate.
