UAE traffic: Accident cleared in Abu Dhabi as usual hotspots delay motorists in Dubai

An early morning crash in the capital slowed traffic on Al Falah/Khaleej Al Arabi Street towards Sheikh Zayed Street at 6:30am, according to the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport. By 7:06am, the accident was cleared.

No other collisions have been reported in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

In Dubai, the usual morning traffic hotspots were lighting up red and orange - warning drivers of slowdowns - on the live traffic map TomTom City. Major congested arteries this morning included:

- E11 between Al Quds Street and Sharjah Ring Road and its feeder streets in the New Al Nahda Park Area

- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, from Mowaileh Camp near Al Dhaid Road to Airport Road.
