RAS AL KHAIMAH // Two men have died and three were injured when their car hit a lamppost early on Tuesday morning.
The speeding car carrying the Asian men crashed at 6.30am in Al Duhaisah, RAK Police said.
Brig Mohammed Al Humaidi, director general of central operations, said the 57-year-old driver died at the scene and a passenger, 51, died in hospital.
Another passenger, 35, sustained serious injuries, while the other two suffered moderate injuries.
Brig Al Humaidi urged all motorists to be cautious and not to speed while driving, especially on bends, and to avoid driving while tired.
