The second phase of the Dh400 million Khor Fakkan-Shes-Dafta road project has been launched by Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah.
Sheikh Sultan also ordered the payment of Dh10m to Khor Fakkan Municipality, said the state news agency Wam.
Sheikh Sultan also visited the Shes and Nahwa areas in the emirate and asked officials to prioritise the needs of citizens.
He also opened the Shes health centre, ordered the construction of roads and a heliport in Shes for emergency cases.
