Congestion in recent days has been caused by a lane closure due to an upgrade of the roundabout.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Naqbi, deputy director of the traffic and patrols department at RAK Police, said all road users should abide by traffic rules and avoid speeding, tailgating and unsafe overtaking.
