A man died after being struck by a car while he was walking on a road in Dubai.
The victim, whose age was not disclosed by police, inadvertently strayed into the path of an oncoming Nissan Patrol on Al Meydan Road on Monday evening.
The driver of the vehicle was unable to avoid the man, who was killed instantly.
Police were alerted to the tragic accident at about 9pm.
