Heavy congestion was reported in Dubai on Wednesday in many of the usual spots; coming out of Discovery Garden, around Dubai Internet City and also in the Dubai Marina area.
Slow moving traffic was reported around Sharjah with heavy congestion on Al Ittihad Street leading towards Dubai. Delays were also expected in the Al Qusais Industrial Area, especially in Damascus Street. Closure of intersection six towards Al Rahmania caused minor delays.
Meanwhile, in the capital, heavy traffic was reported on Al Shahama Street towards Abu Dhabi Mall. Short delays were also expected on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street.
Traffic on the E11 was smooth with no congestion reported so far between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
