Emirates Transport will open seven new stations to store its fleet of 4,303 school buses and upgrade existing sites. In Abu Dhabi, Al Ain will get three new stations – Al Adla, Sinaiyah and Al Hayer – and two stations in the Western Region, Al Sela station and Ghayathi.
Ras Al Khaimah will gain Al Madfaq, while Sharjah will gain Joazaa station.
The total space allocated for school transport in the next academic year is 250,361 square metres.
Emirates Transport provides school services at 22 stations.
