Emirates and Etihad services between the UAE and London have escaped disruption caused by protesters at Heathrow Airport.
The two carriers said operations had been unaffected by a group of environmental protesters breaching security and accessing the north runway at the airport, one of the world’s busiest.
The group were from Plane Stupid and were protesting against climate change. The incident happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
