Dubai Ferry will put viewers at heart of action for Dhow Sailing Race

RTA is providing the ferry for racegoers to enjoy a close-up view of the action on the water.

DUBAI // A ferry is being provided to allow the public to watch the Dhow Sailing Race from alongside the action in the Arabian Gulf.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering tickets to those interested in watching the race, which is also known as Al Gaffal, on May 13 in the waters around the Burj Al Arab.

It is the fourth year in a row the dhow race, which aims to revive traditional sailboating, is taking place.
