DUBAI // Traffic was building up for commuters on the first day of Ramadan on Monday morning.
An accident on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Dubai Sports City resulted in significant tailbacks in both directions.
Traffic was moving slowly along Sheikh Zayed Road.
An overturned vehicle on Al Saada Bridge in Abu Dhabi also caused delays.
No other accidents were reported in the capital.
