SHARJAH // One hundred rare number plates, including a pair of two-digit numbers, will be sold by Sharjah Police in an online auction.
It is the third online vanity plate auction and runs until next month. The two-digit plate numbers are 15 and 66.
Nine three-digit plates are also up for grabs – 120, 121, 200, 202, 221, 313, 660, 801 and 888. Forty-four four-digit numbers and 45 five-digit plates are also available.
“The new auction addresses the desire of citizens and residents to acquire distinctive car number plates,” said Sharjah Police chief Brig Saif Al Zari.
“It comes as part of our objective to achieve the public’s happiness and offer the best possible services, in line with the latest technological advancements.”
