SHARJAH // A 16-year-old Indian girl fell from the seventh floor of a high-rise residential building in Abu Shagara area on Tuesday morning, Sharjah Police have said.
The police command centre dispatched emergency crews and police officers to the scene after being notified about the incident.
The teenager died on impact and her body was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital before being transferred to the Sharjah police forensic lab for an autopsy.
Sharjah Police have launched an investigation into the incident and questioned family members.
Last week, an 11-year-old British boy fell to his death from the eighth floor of a building in Al Majaz area.
