A teenager died after a 12-storey fall from an apartment balcony in Ras Al Khaimah, police reported today.
The 19-year-old victim was of Asian nationality and lived with his mother.
The body has been transferred to a forensics laboratory to determine whether there was criminal intent, said Col Salim Al Darmaki, head of the RAK Civil Investigation Department.
The victim's mother called her other son after the teen fell on Wednesday morning. His brother reported the death to the police.
