ABU DHABI // Etihad Airways is to reduce its flights to Charles De Gaulle Airport after French air traffic controllers went on strike on Wednesday.

“Following meetings with French Air Traffic Control Union and French Government, Etihad will reduce its frequency to #CDG on April 9,” the airline tweeted.

“Flight EY37 (AUH-CDG) on Thursday April 9 will now be rescheduled to depart at 03:00[am] on Friday April 10.

“Etihad Airways regrets any inconvenience to its guests as a result of this industrial action.”

The two-day strike, which has resulted in hundreds of flights to and from France being cancelled, is the result of a dispute over working conditions.

People travelling with Etihad to France are being advised to contact them on +9710 2599 0000 or visit the Etihad website for more information.
