The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in China’s Ningxia region, has been completed and will open on Friday, an official source has said, according to state news agency Wam.
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has constructed the mosque, which was completed in a record time of less than nine months.
The mosque is one of the largest in the People’s Republic of China and can accommodate more than 6,000 worshipers.
