Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has visited Akshardham temple in the Indian capital New Delhi as part of his official visit to India.

During the tour, Sheikh Abdullah was briefed on the historical artefacts of the temple and its architecture, heritage, traditional culture and unique arts, Wam reported. He was also shown Indian architectural monuments and the huge palace that was built from carved sandstone.

The minister expressed his country's interest in art, monuments and other civilisations, and the promotion of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among different cultures and religions.
