Sharjah Ruler is 'King of the BBQ' as he celebrates his birthday in style

Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi celebrated his 78th birthday with a barbecue in the English countryside, pictures show.

The Ruler of Sharjah celebrated how we all love to – with family, food, and cake.

Sheikh Sultan wore a festive apron that dubbed him the "King of the BBQ".

Dr Sheikh Sultan displayed his range of culinary expertise by posing alongside the barbecue where he appears to be cooking some kebabs.

Photos were posted by his daughter Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority with the caption "Happy Birthday Dad".

Sheikh Sultan is pictured expertly cutting a chocolate cake, enjoying the warmer summer weather.

Fans of the family congratulated Dr Sheikh Sultan on his birthday, and wished him well.

"Wishing your Highness happy birthday with lots of best wishes and a long and healthy life. With my utmost respect to you, Your Highness," one well wisher wrote.
