Sharjah Police arrest seven on suspicion of using stolen credit cards

SHARJAH // Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of using stolen credit cards.

Sharjah Police said the Pakistani men used the cards to pay bills online.

One of the card’s owners contacted the police after being notified by his bank that the card had been used without his permission.

Officers launched an investigation and were able to identify and arrest the men. Two were arrested in Dubai with the help of the emirate’s police.

During interrogation, the men confessed and were referred to Sharjah Public Prosecution to face trial.
