Sharjah culture the focus of new TV channel

The Al Wosta channel will be based in Al Dhaid town.

A new TV channel showcasing the culture of central Sharjah is to launch, the emirate's Ruler announced yesterday.

Al Wosta, which will be based in Al Dhaid town, will broadcast documentaries about the heritage of Al Dhaid, Al Madam, Maliha and Al Batayeh, said Dr Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi.
