Two security guards transporting Dh2m from a money exchange shop thwarted a robbery attempt in Dubai
The Nepalese and Indian security guards were carrying the money to a secure vehicle when they were attacked by three men armed with knives.
One of the thieves attempted to grab the bag but was pushed to the floor while the other two attackers fled, reported Aletihad, the Arabic language sister newspaper of The National.
Dubai Police said the suspects had been following the security guards and waited for them to leave the exchange shop carrying the money before attempting to attack them.
