Watch: UAE Genes in Space Winner's project to launch on SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket



The UAE's Genes in Space Winner Alia Al Mansoori has travelled to Florida to witness the launch of her winning experiment at the Kennedy Space Station.

Her experiment, which will measure the effect on genetic material in space, has been packed into a Dragon capsule, as part of a resupply mission to the ISS.

Nasa estimated that weather conditions gave a 70 per cent probability that the countdown would go ahead.
