RAS AL KHAIMAH // A gang of six suspected drug dealers have been arrested by police who seized heroin, morphine and crystal meth.
Colonel Adnan Ali Al Zaabi, head of the anti-narcotics department at RAK Police, said after police received information about the group a team of officers was formed to trace and track them.
The operation, dubbed “Operation Cash Transfer”, tracked the men by tracing cash transfers they attempted to send to a drug dealer in an Asian country.
When arrested, the men tried to conceal the drugs in their vehicle, police said.
The case has been referred to prosecutors.
