ABU DHABI // After a night of thunder and rain, more is yet to come, weather forecasters have said.
Chances of rain and thunder will be high today, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said, with fresh winds reaching up to 45 kilometres per hour. They added that winds will be carrying sand and dust reducing visibility.
In Al Ain, rain had continued until the early hours of the morning.
Motorists have been warned to remain cautious and alert.
The sea will remain rough with waves reaching eight feet.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, skies will remain cloudy with a high chance of scattered rain. The sea will be moderate to rough at times. Visibility will remain low.
Temperatures are expected to drop over the next few days.
