The Abu Dhabi Municipality has completed naming 9 new areas under the Onwani (My Address) system. As many as 491 streets and 5,544 buildings were covered during the exercise.
The Onwani project was rolled out in Al Nahyan, Al Maqta, Al Montazah, Al Rawdha, Al Saada, Al Mezoon, Abu Dhabi Gate, Al Khalidiyah and Al Bateen areas.
Dr Abdullah Hassan Gharib Al Balushi, Executive Director for Land and Real Estate in the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport, said the completion of street-naming in these areas would help residents, visitors and service providers alike by improving access and mobility.
